Hi Tuvalkin. I'm Wendy, a helper with wikia. Bill told me you had asked about setting the default skin for this wiki to monobook. What you need to do is edit MediaWiki:AdminSkin to say MonoBook and save it. Then anybody who has chosen to see the admin preferred skin will see that. Hi again. I'm really sorry about this, but I've just been told that Mediawiki:AdminSkin is going to stop working with Monobook after tomorrow. Unfortunately I don't know any other way to set an admin skin preference. As far as I know you will still be able to view any wiki in Monobook yourself by setting "Skin" in your user preferences, but other users will see Monaco.

I had the idea from your original post that being able to specify Monobook skin was important to you. If you have feedback about the change, please leave a message on this talk page; Danny's a good guy, and more importantly in this case works for wikia :) -- Wendy (talk) 02:12, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
