As of 2611, there are forty-six stage-one colony worlds. This term designates planetary colonies in an early phase of its planned development.

All stage-one colony worlds are transported to share Earth's orbit when the Sleeping God implements Joshua’s plan to solve the Possession Crisis (and indeed many other Humanity’s problems). Each is then populated with about 750 million people from Earth’s population, solving the later’s overcrowding and the former’s isolation problems.
