Avon is a Canadian-ethnic terracompatible planet, seat of the Confederation Assembly and base of the 1st Fleet of the Confederation Navy.
It was open for colonization in 2151 and granted independence from the founding company in 2238.
Avon has been the permanent host for the Confederation Assembly since 2271, when it received an international conference on antimatter — from which the Confederation arose.
Trafalgar, one of Avon’s orbiting asteroids, is not the typical cluster of industrial stations but rather the main base of the Confederation Navy.
