Atlaneans are the citizens of planet Atlantis, the only
Edenist planet in the Night's Dawn universe. Their main industry is related closely to the expansive oceans which cover the planet, with fishing being their primary industry, selling delicacies known the galaxy-over as being worth the money outlaid for them.
Grant Kavanagh and family are particularly fond of these delicacies, as evidenced by
Syrinx's acceptance into trade of
Norfolk Tears in exchange for
Oenone's full hold of Atlantean delicacies, in book one - "The Reality Dysfunction".
